Yay!
I'm so glad the blanket made it safely there!

Oh, I hope you have a camera. We'd all love to see how the blanket looks now.

I have a camera and will be happy to take pictures and post them. It will be a challenge to get all the colors to appear as nice as they are in person. I'll probably have my husband do it...he's much better than I am at photography.

Okay, here is a couple of the latest pictures of the blanket. I can't believe how wonderful it looks. It is really soft and was a joy to knit on. The timing was perfect...with the long weekend, I had quite a bit of knitting time available to me, so I was able to get my section done. It will be travelling again as soon as I get the next address. Kris

Hey y'all! I have not been keeping up with this thread so, I have some questions...

I'm the next knitter on the orphan blanket. Does it have a theme? What yarns have y'all used?

Thanks!!!

Hi Nathalie!

No theme....just knit a section in any washable worsted weight yarn you have in your stash. Any pattern of your choice.

Here's our blog about this particular blanket:

So glad you can work on it!

Hi all! Just wanted to let you know that the blanket arrived today safe and sound.

My kids were kind enough to hold it up while I took a picture. As you can see, it's getting really big!

I'll take another one after I add my section.
