I tried to mail Purple Mountains Majesty today, but got caught at work and arrived after all the post offices had closed (checked three). Ladybug & I will do it first thing tomorrow morning and I'll post the confirmation info during naptime.

I did a simple moss stitch using Caron's Simply Soft in Orchid.

One of the reasons I got caught at work was DB called MB while we were doing our transition and while trying to distract the kiddos spotted this --

Also had two parking boots on which refused to move until I distracted them with this one.

Rainbow I promised Bug I would take a picture of as I was leaving (so he would let me leave!).

Any way, by the time the parking boots were removed and I was allowed to finally drive off, it was 4:30 when all the PO close.

Recieved the Orange Sherbet blankie today, I'll find some yarn and start on it tomorrow.

The parking boots were the two children I nanny for. Bug is fascinated by Disney's Cars movie, so he likes to pretend to be a parking boot when he doesn't want me to leave at the end of the day. Then Ladybug does everything she sees big brother doing. They really are great parking boots. The real parking boots are earned.

Hi y'all! Just checking in.

Blankets are being worked on, so that's good.

Nostash2big, from Ravelry, has offered to start another blanket, since she's got the yarn for it. The new blanket will be called Autumn Reds, and it will be a worsted weight blanket. We thought we would do reds, such as cranberry, candy apple, and other such shades.

So far, I've got two knitters for it...Nostash2big and Purlingkitten. We need four more knitters. Anyone want to volunteer?

It will be a little while before this blanket gets going. She's got two other blankets to work on first.
