You can do garter stitch if you want. It is okay. Knittingonthenet.com has some stitch patterns with pictures. Also there is a sticky at the top of the page on the charity page that has stitch patterns for the blankets. Just don't do ribs, cables, slip stitch patterns because they tend to pull the sides of the blanket in.

I'm worried because I don't know if I'll be doing any fancy stuff on the blankets I do - what are some easy 'patterns' you can suggest (preferably with online pictures/instructions). All I've done so far is stockinette or only purl or only knit.
You can go to this page on KnittingHelp for various pattern links.

I would stick with simple patterns. The easiest patterns are often the loveliest.

We're thrilled with each member who participates. Skill levels are not compared here.

Jewel of the Nile arrived yesterday and it's gorgeous. I can't wait to start working on it. I have to decide what yarn I want to add, but it it sure is pretty...

Tania, thanks for the chocolates and the note. I will enjoy the chocolates and the knitting.

Neon Rainbow
Is Neon Rainbow on the move? I've been saving the purple yarn for this blanket, and it is tempting me to use it for something else.

Is there any news?

Sepenguins is working on it now. She was delayed because of sickness but is now catching up. It should be traveling soon.

Fruity Pebbles
I guess I'm going to be working on Fruity Pebbles, I was just wondering if the 'lineup' is posted somewhere so I can anticipate my turn, etc? I saw one picture (the first section) on the blog - it looks like fun! Also, not sure if I'm working on Busy Bee also, but same question - is there a 'lineup' posted somewhere. Maybe these aren't posted, or maybe I missed them.

Thanks!
