Officially, I thought we'd start on the day of opening ceremonies, which is August 8th. Here's the link for a schedule. Looks like "someone" got a little excited.

Those are Tahki Cotton Classic...no color name, just a number. They were a gift from another knitter on one of the Oddball Baby Blankets. I'm thrilled that I have a project to use them with!

Ohh cool thanks for the pattern, I wondered if there was one out there

I get so excited for the Olympics that I drive my dh crazy!! I love to watch them all...I'm suppose to go home the first or 2nd week of Aug and I'm having trouble deciding when...do I miss the Opening night in HD (parents have a very small tv) or do I miss all the Olympics in HD...I'm thinking I'll go down the first week and have JD tivo the opening night for me

Love that orange and the pat. is great... I printed will do it first for myself in red/white/blue I think. If you do ever decide to design things I would be glad to pay someone to write me a pat. for RAZORBACKS, GO HOGS, and WHOOO PIG - SOOOIE!!. I have tried to make a chart and work from it but with no luck. I am not good at these things I guess. I am still trying though in case maybe one day a light goes off in this head of mine. lol I guess I am still too new at knitting to expect much.

LBECK - Now you've got me pondering how I would do those! Are you referring to the University of Arkansas Razorbacks? It would be cool to do one of the pig itself, as well.

Since everyone else is sharing, here's a picture of my dishcloth yarn stash that I hope to eliminate by the end of the challenge!

Yes, I am and the pig itself would be a great idea. I would be so greatful. Do you want to do it? If not does anyone want to attempt it? I would pay for the pattern.

I think I am in. I know I won't get one cloth a day done but if I get a few done I will by happy. Work will prevent me from knitting all day while watching the Olympics BUT I will watch in the evenings and some on weekends so I can use up some Sugar and Cream.
