I can't wait for 8/8/08 at 8 pm!
I just finished reading Sports Illustrated's Olympic issue and I love how they list out every single Olympic sport and all the separate categories. It's amazing how many weight classes sports like Judo have and I would be hard pressed to have guessed that canoeing was an Olympic sport.
suewoz - I'm in the same boat as you. Work is such an interruption to important things like viewing the Olympics and knitting!

Yeah, I work part-time, so I totally understand! Plus, I'm going to be studying for an exam those first few days. My exam is scheduled for 8/11, so I'll be "free" after that.

Hmm, I think I need to make a trip to Michaels, or JoAnn's or A.C. Moore, or maybe all three!

Well, I've cheated a bit. I got a head start on the Olympic Dishcloth. I'm studying for a teaching certification exam and know that keeping up with one cloth per day, for the first few days, is going to be tough. So, I took a break from the studying and knit about half of the cloth. If I keep up this pace...maybe a half a dishcloth a day, I will, hopefully, be about where I want to be, progress-wise. I'll post a photo when I've finished it.

My cotton stash just took a drastic jump. Bought 20 skeins at Micheal's the other day. Can't beat a sale like that.
