I used woolease for my first pair, and several since. They hold up pretty well, but you'll want to wash them inside out. They tend to get a little fuzzy looking over time, and I like to keep that to the inside.
I looked at the Sock-ease today. I also picked up some of the red heart sock yarn to make my daughter a pair. The Sock-ease was much bigger skeins than the Redheart. you would need 2(I only need one for my daughter) of the Redheart at $4.99 each and only one of the Sock-ease. The Red Heart is 70% superwash wool and 30% nylon. The sock-ease is 75% Wool, 25% Nylon. I thought the Heart and Sole was softer to the touch it has aloe.
