Do you know if you're having trouble keeping the YO straight or the k2tog- or both?
I do both of what people are saying. When I YO I hold the YO against the back of the right needle with the index finger of my right hand. Then the k2tog I can sometimes scoop like a regular stitch but if it's tight- I slide it more to the pointy bit of the needle and put my left finger behind it to keep it put and scoop it off that finger w/ the needle...or I wrap it over the needle like Braden does (over the right needle & under the left with my left middle finger.)
Sometimes hollering "you get through there, you stupid little stitch" helps too. Doesn't everyone talk to their knitting?
