Brilliant Online Expert book - can read for free anytime
Hi

Being a lazy knitter, I'm always mooching about for anything that makes life easier and is especially good at clearly explaining why something is done in particular way and what the result will look like.

Came across this cracker of a book that you can dip into whenever the need arises:

http://www.studioknits.com/booktoc.htm

Scroll down the Table of Contents - for a ton of very clear instruction and photos.

I was looking instructions of just how many stitches should be picked up on a rib as compared to stocking stitch and just hit Chapter 24, which explained the mystery of why I'd ended up with a slightly curved button band on a child's cardigan!
