Thank you for the compliments and encouragement.

I think you're right, and she'll love it despite any mistakes. She is the one that got me started knitting, though, so that makes it a little trickier. But still....she'll see it as a whole picture and how much love that went into it.

I don't understand this mystery stole thing. Is that like...you don't even know what you're making when you start it? Sounds interesting. I've intentionally stayed away from all threads on that because I have WAY too many projects going and am stressed enough as it is. LOL

I'm doing Secret of the Stole 3. Really wanted to do the Mystery Stole 4 but it would have been too much knitting on my plate.

They give out so many clues (rows to do).
All I know so far is that it's a stole, using lacewieght yarn ( i'm going to use plum cobweb or KnitPicks bare laceweight) and you need 8/0 beads to show a pattern..
It starts Sept. 12 and last clue will be given out on Oct 10.

How are we all doing on our shawls?

I just finished chart "F" and uploaded a photo. Here it is as it stands. I blocked it out a little bit to get a good look at it. I wish it was done already. I'm so sick of looking at this yarn and this pattern!

Right now SOTS3 is kicking my butt. I have had to use my life lines and frogged once. SO I'm sure after I get it done Alix will be easy for me.

Oh I'm sure it will be! As far as lace goes, from others I've seen, I'm guessing this is considered pretty easy. Since this was my first lace project, it wasn't very easy for me, but now it's just soooo tedious and I'm so sick of the same stitch pattern. It's really pretty though and will be totally worth it. I can say right now I will never make it again. I will pick a more exciting lace project next time.

I can't wait to see your finished SOTS!

OMG you're fast! I'm so envious! I still have 2-1/2 chart sections to do and am still freaking out thinking I might not get it done on time. I wish I could knit faster! Congratulations! I wanna see pictures!!!!!
