I need a gift idea!
A friend of mine has been trying for ages to get pregnant, to the point that she had almost given up. She just announced that she's pregnant! I'm so excited for her! I want to make her something nice but I'm not sure what. I'd like it to be for HER, *just in case* something happens with the pregnancy however unlikely. Any ideas?

I'd make her a lovely, warm blanket that she can wrap herself in when she's up in the middle of the night on feeding duty. Or, I'd make her a warm, comfy sweater for when she's pregnant. I'm sure there's some beautiful patterns out there.

Congratulations to her and to you for being able to knit some wonderful baby things!!

How about a shawl. Something she can wrap around her shoulders when it's chilly or use for privacy when nursing.

That's just what I was going to say Jan, I loved my shawl for nursing and just keeping warm
