Man's Felted Hat
Hello to you all !!!

I am "attempting" to get a jump start on Christmas this year. I have been making "felted" woman's hats & am loving them.

I am having a very difficult time finding any patterns for men's felted hats.

Any idea's????

Many thanks,
Carol

My first thought is - couldn't they be the same as the women's, just different colors? The other question is - do they have to be felted? Could you just make simple ribbed watch caps in college or favorite colors?

There is a great felted cowboy (looks good on everybody) designed by Pat Feeley at highcountryknitwear.com

The pattern is well-written, with detailed directions for getting the look and fit you want, and the hat itself looks very professional.

I'vw made this felted hat (well, I've yet to actually felt it - definitely will before cold weather gets here!), found right at this site on the Pattern page. I don't see why it wouldn't work just as well for a man as a woman.

Thank you for taking the time to post the links. I think I just might make the cowboy hat for my son in law!

Thanks Again,
Carol
