Headache relief just a website away
And this isn't an advertisement!

I've had the most horrific headache all day long. Don't get them very often, but when I do they're bad.Sat and did nothing most of the day.

About fifteen minutes ago I found this website:

http://www.soundtells.com/Acupressure/index.html

Did what they said and the pain went away. I've had to repeat it, and will probably have to again, but for now the pain is gone. Ibuprofen and a narcotic analgesic didn't touch it, but this did.

Yes, acupressure works similarly to acupuncture and is useful for many things besides headaches. This article - http://www.tensionrelief.info/Articl...erPressure.htm - gives points for stress relief. The site used to have more information, but I have a few of the books and they're very good.

I get migraine headaches that are only cured by getting a full 8 hours of sleep. I also do the accupressure shown on the website by pinching the area between my finger and thumb. It's not a cure, but it does dull the pain until I can get some sleep.

Thanks! I wish I'd had those tips on Sunday, when I was down for the count all day.

Usually the headaches are due to sinus problems, but not that one, it was very different.

Spent about fifteen minutes using the acupressure, and then was able to sleep. Still a bit 'hungover' but much better today, and can actually knit and cook.
