I'm still working on the red ankle socks. It's nice to get back in the groove of sock-knitting again.

Last night, I worked on my craft room for a little while. I re-organized some boxes of yarn, and came across some of my UFO's.

I put them all in one spot, and now I'm ready to tackle them!

I'm almost done the socks I'm working on. It's a good thing too because the friend they're for definitely did not forget about them. She's coming for a visit soon and she left a message for me today that said "10 more days until I get my socks". I'll definitely have them done before then!

The UFO's I started with were the oddball baby blankets... So far this month I've finished: Beach Party, Lavender's Green, Happy Blue birds, and Pastel Rainbow.

This is Lavender's Green

This is Beach Party

Here is Happy Bluebirds

Now just so everyone that's not knitting on he oddball blankets knows, I only knit one section or those... well I did the border for Happy Bluebirds and Lavender's Green too.

I'm working on the hat to a baby set I started MONTHS ago. And Belle's skirt. After those are done I'll start working on the afghans I have to make for Christmas...

I have done two pattern repeats on my sock need to do two or three more. But at the moment the first sock is lost and it is driving me to distractions. I can only imagine that Maisey has run off with it and put it in one of the toy boxes. will have to go check.

Feels quite good to have at least one thing done, even if it is a small one.
That is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Nice knitting!

Finished the socks!

My friend requested them a couple months ago after I sent her a picture of a pair I had made for myself. She said she wanted them to be bright pink and blue. I hope they're bright enough for her!

Of course, I had to try them on to see what they looked like.

On to my next UFO!!

Xyza I love those socks, very nice. Great fit shame you cant keep them. I am sure your friend will be thrilled with them though. did you use a self striping yarn?
