What a sweet looking dog. Reminds me of the full grown dog that "found" me many years ago in a library. I was sitting in a chair looking thru coupons when this huge dog wandered in and sat right beside me and stayed there until I was finished about a half hour later. Was tempted to take him home, but we already had 3 dogs and I figured that he must have belonged to someone in the neighborhood. Give Max a hug for me.

I just live a hour away from you by the range only moved away from Duluth 7 years ago.
People are just leaving their dogs because they can't afford them or had to move out of there house into a apartment.Did you check with Animal Allies?I have a dog now that someone left to fend for himself, the golden Lab.I already had 2 dogs but just couldn't leave him to fend for himself.
So maybe it was just meant to be that he found you for whatever reason.Good luck what ever happens!!!!!!!!

Oh wow, you live on the range? Your pups are adorable! My husband told me yesterday that we can keep Maxx if we can't find his owner. My sister sent me an email yesterday and her friend's husband found a litter of 5 labs that were dumped, they're 6-8 weeks old and they're trying to find homes for them. How sad. Yes, I called animal allies, all the shelters, all the vets in the area and they have his description down.

Oh, neat! We live in between Proctor and Cloquet, on 10 acres of land. We should definately get together. There's a cute scrapbooking/yarn store in Cloquet that has a little room for people who want to knit or whatever. That would be neat.

Yes, the dog in my avatar was our puppy, Buddy, who passed away 5 days before Maxx came into our lives.
