Hi,

If a pattern says to decrease 1 stitch when the piece reaches 1". DO you do the decrease in the row that makes the 1". Or do you knit as per usual and decrease in the 1st row after it becomes 1" long?

I would interpret it to mean that you do the decrease AFTER the piece reaches one inch - which would be the next row.
