What to do with this yarn....
I have 9 balls ( approx 1170 yards ) of a nice royal blue cotton/linen/rayon mix that I bought on super-sale figuring I´d find the perfect pattern for it. I¨m still searching...

The recommended gauge/needle size on the label is 22st x 30 rows on size 3-3 1/2 mm needles. It´s not totally smooth either, it´s smooth and thin in some spots, and thicker in others.

I´m thinking that a pattern with too much of a pattern ( ie a cable etc ) might get lost with the varying texture of the yarn. It´s so pretty and I¨d love to use it ( and stash bust... )

Any suggestions?

Karen

You're right, you'd want to stick with a simple stitch pattern as the yarn will provide the texture.
