toe ridge on 5th sock!

I have watched the video on knittingatknoon and read numerous sets of directions. I am still getting a ridge at the toe of my sock when I do the kitchener stitch. Am I supposed to do it on the right side of the sock? Would that make a difference? I cannot figure out why I'm still messing it up!??

yes, work it on the right side of your sock so the sock is they way out it would be when you wore it.
the kitchener stitch directions mimic the pattern of stst from the right side so if you do it from the wrong side you are creating reverese stockinette.

It may be that you are also pulling a little tight which can leave a ridge.
