Last night, I finished the second section of "Cloud 9", our cotton snuggle. I will be mailing it to bugsyblacklab next week.

Jungle Fever
Katie, Jungle Fever is on its way to you. DC# 0311 0240 0002 1714 9430. ETA is Monday.

I did my section in Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn, Limelight and Jazzy Stripes to represent the tropical birds of South America.
Calimama did the first section to represent lions and Susauehl did the second section in the colors of elephants. This is turning into a very pretty snuggle.

Mountain Hike
Here is the picture of the finished Mountain Hike.

For the last section, I used a variagated yarn called Homestyles (sold by Wal-Mart) in Mountain Top and RHSS Delft Blue.
This snuggle will be delivered to the Abe J. Tuggle Animal Shelter and Adoption Center in Garland, TX.

Oh that blanket is so pretty! I can't wait to see it!

I am still sitting on Autumn Run, but tomorrow is a work holiday and I will be dropping it off at the post office then. Somehow I thought I had already sent it and was surprised to see it earlier in the week when I was sorting through some bundles of yarn.

What a beautiful snuggle! I love the way the colors transitioned -- sort of like the woods at the top of the mountain is on one side and the water at bottom is on the other!

The DC for Autumn Run is 0311 0240 0000 6028 7402.

Jungle Fever arrived yesterday and it is much prettier in person! I bought some black/grey varigated yarn to pair with some pink from my stash to represent FLAMINGOS! LOL

How is everyone else doing with their blankets? Should we start a couple of new ones or is everyone going to be busy for the holidays?

Katie,

Love the flamingo idea !
I have my yarn ready to start another snuggle, but my crappy shoulder is acting up, so I decided to let it rest a couple of days. I thought of another theme--Green Pastures, each section all green combined with a variagated to represent wild flowers. I noticed my skein of RHSS Tea Leaf next to a pretty stripe I got at Hobby Lobby and the idea just clicked. I should have something to post right after Thanksgiving.

Oh that's a great name! I was going to start one when Autunm Run returns to me. Any suggestions for names?I came up with Starry night, but I am bad at names .Have LOTS of yarn to use up. Didn't know if we should be thinking of a Christmas name. Let me know what you guys think!
