I'm ready for another one? Is there one started that needs another knitter?

I'll cast on "His Majesty" tonight! I was waiting for Christmas to be over, and it's over now!

You're the next knitter on that one, so it will probably be ready to come to you in about a week.

What colors are we using for that one?

I hope you are feeling better, Sandy. Sounds like you have had a little roughness recently...

Are you waiting on Pampered Pets from me? I still have it. I've never received an address to send it to. I was getting worried after not hearing from anyone for a couple of weeks, but figured with the holidays maybe it was just too busy for everyone anyway. Send me your address and I can get it sent to you!

Thanks Danielle! I've added you to "His Majesty". I'm almost finished with the first section. Here is the list of knitters for that snuggle. (By the way, we are using blue and purple yarns for this one.)

Attention Snuggle Knitters!
We're making a small change on our new blankets for 2009.

Now, instead of each knitter knitting for 4 inches on the snuggles, we will each knit for 5 inches. The project goes very quickly, since we're using double stranded yarn. And I think that two regular skeins of cotton worsted will work perfectly for that amount of knitting.

So, now we will have 5 knitters on each new snuggle, and we will each knit for 5 inches. This will make the snuggle measure 24 x 25, which should still work fine for the Snuggles project guidelines. Just be sure to ONLY knit for 5 inches...no more.

This guideline goes into effect for "His Majesty", "Sweet Princess", "Her Highness", "My Prince", and any other snuggles started from now on.

(Our earlier snuggles started in 2008 will still have the original 4 inch guideline.)
