I'm not sure -- patterns may be fine. Maybe we should wait to hear from mulderknitter...

If you haven't looked at the snuggle website, check it out....http://www.snugglesproject.org/
It's also where you can find an organization near you to donate to.

They show other stitches on the site, so it would be ok. I think that we were just doing garter stitch because it was quick and easy....especially for beginners to be included. That's how I jumped into the oddballs...because I figured a puppy/kitty wouldn't care if I messed up.

I'm all for trying some new stitches...as long as they're ok with the project rules.

We've been doing garter stitch like SgtPam said because it was easier for the newbies to get started with us. I am perfectly fine with different stitch patterns though, just no cables or lace. Cables pull in too much, and lace is easy for paws to get stuck in.
I will post a current list of the blankets in a bit. Have to have more coffee and wake up a bit.

Here is a list of the current blankets in progress:
Cotton
Cat Nap
Jdee - working on it
Yarncharmer - next to finish

Acrylic
Scrappy Doo 2
ladybug lady - working on it
Mulderknitter
Vergigo1414
SgtPam

Scrappy Doo 1
SgtPam - working on it
Ladybug Lady
Cheley

Buddy
Vergigo1414 - working on it
Jdee
Yarncharmer
Needs 1 knitter to finish

Just a note, if you were on Snuggly Wuggly or My prince, these blankets have been listed by me as lost. I have tried to contact the knitters that have them to no avail.

If there are enough knitters with interest, I can cast on another blanket or 2!

alright thanks to an evening knitting session (i've been going since my last post) Buddy is ready to mail, unfortunally i'm working overtime this week so i won't be able to mail him till wednesday. so where's he going?

p.s. i thought i was last on scrappy 2, or did we change it? or am i just going crazy?

edit:added pics. I had to wait till my "model" fell asleep. This is my Mittens, thankfully she had a bath yesterday cause she played in a mud puddle.

Absolutely adorable! And the blanket's pretty, too.
