wyif
Hi, I am a very new knitter and I have a pattern that says wyif, but at the end of the row eg. K to last st, sl 1 wyif. If i do that the yarn just falls off, do I add the stitch on the next line or not at all?

Knit until you have one st remaining on your left ndl. Bring the yarn fwd (to you) between the ndls and slip that last stitch from the left ndl to the right ndl purlwise. (All sts now on right ndl.) Transfer ndl in right hand to left hand and work next row of the pattern.

HTH,
cam

What cam said. Then when you do the next row, the first st is knit, the yarn's in the right place. Don't worry, it works out.
