Please put me on your list for crocheting oddball blankets too! I have just recently started helping out with the borders on the knitted blankets for the Northeast region.

Have you picked yarn and colors yet?

I have not yet picked colors or yarn BUT I will be using the same guidelines as the other OddBall blankets.

I wouldn't mind joining in. I'm just learning basic crochet as I've used it on a couple of projects and doing a couple prayer shawls for my church.

My stitches will be very basic, but please add me to your list

There are enough of use to start a blanket if you all would like to. I cna do the last section and put the border on os It doesnt have to come bck to me again.

I'll work on getting stuff together as far as guidelines and what not. Also does anyone want to make a button like what is in my signature? It will need to be large enough so I can put it on the guidelines that goes with each blanket while it travels.

also I need a hospital/charity to donate the blankets to. If we can't decide then I'll just send them to Danielle aka secksiebrat and they will be donated to the HAIN (heavenly Angles in Need) hospital where the South West region knitted Odd Ball blankets are going.

Care-Net centers are located around the country and are always looking for nice things for new babies. I used to volunteer at my local center many years ago and I saw how much it meant to the young girls to have something handmade for their new baby.

Just a thought.
