MGM do you know what the requirement for the blankets are that are donated to Care-Net? Also do they have a size preference?

I don't mind where the blankets go so wherever everyone decides will be fine. Just let me know and I'm ready.

Last I knew, they were happy with anything anyone wanted to give, but just to be sure, I will call Monday morning and speak with the director. No sense putting all that love and work into something that no one will use!

I will be in touch and let you know what I find out.

NOW we need a theme or 2. and I'll come up with an order for the blanket. In the mean time Everyone needs to PM me their address so I can create a master mailing list. The list will be kept private and I will NOT give out your address to anyone except those who are working on the blanket(s).

how about we start with Rainbow Connection.
The blanket will be worked in Double Crochet (DC) for the ENTIRE blanket.

Red
Orange
Yellow
Green
Blue
Purple

I have Red, Orange, Yellow and Blue so you all let me know which colors you would like to do. When it comes to the border we can do either black or white.

I just spoke with my local Care-Net and they are very excited about getting some handmade blankets for the babies. Their only requirement is machine wash and dry! Very easy to please!

I would be happy to be the last crocheter on Rainbow Connection and also do the border, then deliver it myself along with any others we might have ready around the same time.

How does that sound?
