I am baffled

So........
Okay, the problem is that I tried to knit a wrap with 2 skeins of Malabrigo Chunky (deep love) and it turned out reallly weird. This was my own pattern by the way, basically just started with two stitches, and increased 2 each row.

So why is that the darn thing looks like the tale of a whale. Shouldn't it be just one big triangle?

Go to kittywhoknits.blogspot.com, and look at pictures, and tell me if anyone can figure out what I did wrong. Please?

Increasing 2 each row won't quite give you a triangle. More of a shallow one. Try increasing 1 st at the beginning of each row, or 2 every other row.

I fixed the link, and tried to attach a picture. So just one side, Sue? Hmm. It started looking like a triangle....

One side? You mean like RS/WS? Yes, 2 incs, one on each ends of the RS. Or if you inc 1 at the beg of every row - same thing.

Hi Sue -

So I was increasing 1 stitch at the beginning and end of each row on the right side and wrong side. This could be my issue, huh? And actually, after about 15 rows, and started increasing 2 stitches, beg and end on the rs and ws. Yep, I can see where I messed up.

Well, I frogged it and I am starting over again. Thank you so much, again, as usual
