Vest armhole "cast off beg next 2 rows"
Hi, I am knitting my very first vest. I am at the point of the armholes. The pattern reads: With RS facing ~ "Shape armholes: Cast off 19 sts beg next 2 rows."

I know how to cast off, although I've only done it on an entire row for a scarf or dishcloth ~ it doesn't say anything about the end of the row. (I am knitting in stockinette.)

Would I cast off the 19 and continue knitting to the end of the row. Then, turn my work, cast off 19 and purl to the end of that row?

Thanks in advance!

Cast off/bind off the 19 sts (that's 19 sts passed over) then knit to the end of the row. Turn and repeat.
