Thanks to the ladies who have responded to my thread and added links for the Save the Children - Knit One, Save One Campaign
. I participated in their last campaign back in 2006 and the results were truly amazing. One of the parents at the school where I teach is a Child Survival Specialist for Save the Children. He said the staff here in CT was overwhelmed by the generosity and creativity of knitters and crocheters during the 2006 campaign.
Congratulations to those of you who have already participated in a similar campaign in your native countries.
I can only believe that all around the knitters and crocheters will continue to respond to the call to help the infants of the world. It is heart-warming to know that one little baby hat can make a difference in someone's quality of life.
