Pattern abbreviation
I'm working on a hat pattern and it includes the abbreviation "dd"...what does that mean. the pattern uses the abbreviation "dec" for decreases...so I'm uncertain what "dd" means.

There should be a section near the top the defines abbreviations like that.

Type out the entire row on instructions where it is used, maybe someone can tell from that.

It's probably double dec, where you reduce 3 sts to one st.

I went back to the website where I found the hat pattern...it is indeed a double decrease...thanks for your assistance.
