Just had my first spinning class

Was great fun, I had an old Haldane and my mum was given an Ashford. I smell a bit sheepy now. The hardest part was the carding, my rolags were a disaster!

congrats! and just like everything.. it all gets easier with practice!

We did flick carding and short draw today which were both a lot easier, but there was a lot of wastage of fibre. 'll need to buy some curved back carders and a ball winder! It's so much faster than the drop spindle!
