I found the thread! I'm so glad you pointed it out to me. The little socks people have knit are so darn cute and it's for such an important cause. I will go dig through my stash right now and start.

I've got 6 knit and one more on the needles. But I hate doing seams!!!! Anyone want to sew them up???

They are very easy to knit and go very fast. It's a nice break from the sweater I'm knitting (in the round, top down - no seams!!)

Okay, momwolf, I would like to be included in this project since my husband is a veteran of the armed forces but need to be sure I can use some Red Heart yarn that I already have. Blew the monthly yarn budget last night on an emergency vet trip with my baby Gizmo. I have the Red Heart Americana varigated yarn (red, white & blue). If I cannot use this I probably could scrounge up a skein of red yarn & white yarn to use.

Just PM to let me know if this can be done & if yes where to send my complete stockings.

Oh you guys...it's hard NOT to do this!

I'm going to do my best to get a few knit up, and I'm enlisting the help of a co-worker who crochets. If anyone has specific instructions on how to crochet one, she'd really appreciate it (she's not on KH, BTW).
