Need help understanding increase directions
Hi,

My pattern for a baby hat says to "pick up loop between last and next st and work into back of this loop (this will now be referred to as m1)". Is this the same as M1B in the videos in the increase section?

Thanks for any help you can give!

Julie

Based on your description of the instructions it would be an M1F since that one says to knit into the back of the stitch. One is a left leaning increase the other is a right leaning.
