My LYS's Economic Stimulus Package
My very creative and wonderful new LYS owner sent us an email outlining her Economic Stimulus Package.....if we show-up on Election Day with an I VOTED sticker we get 20% off our purchase !!!
Too bad I have to work and will be at the polls long before she opens. Either way I thought that was pretty creative of her.

Good idea. I saw a story on the local news up here in WI that a bar will be giving out a free draft beer to anyone who shows up with the I Voted sticker.

What do you mean guys don't knit?

Linux: because a PC is a terrible thing to waste.

Perfection is overrated. Knitting is meant to relieve stress, not cause it. Relax and enjoy it.

That is a great idea. I wonder if any of the LYS in my area are doing anything like that.

Wow, that is too cool!!

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.

I think my LYS is doing something similar. Given how emotionally taxed many of us are over the election process (I just want it to be over!) what better way to deal with stress than to hunker down with some knitting....or go shopping (for knitting stuff)!
Keeping to the knitting basics

I think I have 5 of those in my truck, do I get 100% off?
Petroleum based knitter, removing that nasty oil from the ground one skein at a time.
