Please help me decipher this!
I need some help figuring out what the directions are saying for my raglan wrap that I am working on. Any help is much appreciated! The underlined section is what I need help with.

K1, yo, K2, pass yo over last 2 sts, ssk, purl to last 5 sts, K2tog, yo, K2, pass yo over last 2 sts, K1-2 sts dec'd

Again thanks for any help you can provide. Still sort of a beginner with all this stuff!

Thanks!

k2tog means knit 2 sts as 1 st.

the -2 sts decreases is just telling you that over this entire row, you've decreased 2 sts (the first ssk and the k2tog were the decrease sts)

they should have written it as: K1, yo, K2, pass yo over last 2 sts, ssk, purl to last 5 sts, K2tog, yo, K2, pass yo over last 2 sts, K1. (2 sts dec'd)

If you're unclear on abbreviations (i.e. 'K2tog'), check the Glossary (tab at top).

Hi Zoecat25,
Just curious how your sweater turned out, did you love it? I recognized the instructions you quoted and I am actually just starting that same "Raglan Wrap" sweater...

She hasn't posted since November when this was posted so she may not be in the forum anymore.
