It's official the hubby's dissertation is written and he should have his PhD by Thanksgiving !!!! There have been so many bumps along the way I wasn't sure we would ever see this day. I'm so excited I'm giving up attending a knitting class to throw him a party !!
Congrats to him, and TO YOU TOO!!! I know how hard it can be on the partner. My boyfriend finished his PhD in the summer, and I think it was harder on me than when I finished my own PhD 2 years ago!

My not so popular BLOG
Defense is Nov 21st, but the manuscript is already out to his committee and includes about 4 articles that have already been or are being published and submitted to conferences so hopefully when the date rolls around there won't be too many suprises and everyone will sign off. <crossing fingers and toes> Here's hoping anyway b/c it sure would stink to give up a knitting class, plan a party and have him in a fowl mood.....
