Best friend scarf
So the pattern says this:

Slip 2 as if to knit together, knit one, pass slipped stitch over

and I just can't figure out what that is. If I slip them from the left hand needle to the right hand needle, how do I knit? I got the pattern on Ravelry http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr...t-friend-scarf

The knit 1 refers to the next st on your left needle. Insert your right needle into 2 sts as if you were going to k2tog, but just slip them onto the right needle. Then knit the next st as usual, and pass the 2 slipped sts over that knit st. It's like slip 1, k1, psso, only you slip 2.

Oh see now that makes a lot more sense than what I was trying to do. Sometimes I am amazed at how dumb I can be. Thanks Suzeeq
