Increase into front & back, purl?
I can usually figure things out, however I am stumped with this increase. I have watched the video over and over, looked it up in several knitting help books, and have gone to my local yarn shop for assistance, and still can't figure this out.I am making a very simple dog sweater and it calls for an increase at the beginning and end of the row in a stockinette stitch. I am ready to give up. Any ideas?

A pfb? Purl into the stitch like ususal but leave it on the needle, then purl into the back of it. It's awkward and takes some maneuvering of the needles but can be done.

I didn't give up and finally figured it out. It only took me 4 days! It is awkward.
