We've decided to do something we can use for the summer.

ANKLE SOCKS!

I'm planning on finishing up a pair I started a long time ago for my oldest son. And I'm casting on another pair for my middle son. I might even make a pair for myself!

Here's the red pair I've been working on, using the "One Skein Sockettes" pattern:

And I want to use the "Ankle Socks" pattern for my other son.

Also, I have some nice colorful Plymouth Sockotta yarn in my stash that I've been wanting to use for a pair for me! The yarn has bright yellow, pink, and orange - PERFECT for summer!

Going to use this yarn Plymouth Yarn's Sockin' Sox in colorway 006 to knit Footies or the Ankle Socks. Will CO later this weekend.

I have that EXACT same color!

I'm going to join with the socks I started like a year ago for a friend. I won't make any for me cuz I don't like ankle socks. But I'm sure she will love them and the first one is almost done. They are slipper socks... (hey she lives in NH and with the summer they are having she might use them in the summer too...

)

After I make those, I might make one for a friend's daughter, cuz she just deserves some...

i might hop on this one, i've wanted to get going on a pair of slipper socks for myself for a long time. the only problem is i have size 5 1/2 feet so everything is big on me...

Depending on how you do it you'd just make them shorter and use less stitches around the foot/ankle.
