travelling slip-stitch, used as texture

Hi there,

In the latest issue of Interweave Knitting, there is mention of a travelling slip-stitch pattern which I really like but cannot find any instructions on how to do it. Can anyone point me to a resource or give me instructions?

Here is a link which addresses traveling twisted stitches and how to do them. It may be the same method only used with slipped stitches, I don't know.

It's the Winter 2008 IK. Page 33 has the picture (dark brown swatch). I really like it, but have no idea on how to reproduce it.
