My boyfriend has an amazon wishlist so if i get really stuck for him I look at that.

Most of the time though if i start bugging him in November he has usually come up with something he wants me to get him by the time I'm ready to start shopping.

This year he wanted an Xbox 360 controller because he only has one so he can't play two player games. I decided, because that was all too boring for my taste, that as well as that he could have a little box of cheap stuff from one of those gizmo shops and a hat (it was one of those I saw this and thought of you gifts!). I wrapped each little thing individually then put it in the box and wrapped the box too - he's gonna have a lot of unwrapping to do. I don't know if he'll enjoy the unwrapping as much as I enjoyed the wrapping. I am a wrapping freak, I've done all my Mom's wrapping too!

Luckily my boyfriend only asked for simple gifts. A pair of shorts, fingerless gloves... Simple, and I know he would use them.

However, when it comes to my father, I just look around the stores looking stupid. I usually get him black socks and white t-shirts since those are supposed to be worn with his uniform for work. This year, he put up a fish tank and is currently raising and taking care of them. So I'm thinking maybe a small decoration for his tank. He also plays war games on the Xbox-360, I might splurge and pick him up a game.

I also have a brother who's picky, so I just buy him chocolate for christmas. How could anyone complain about that?

He'd probably like that better than some that fit him.

Most of the men I know are happy to have someone else shop for clothes for them.

Absolutely! Although if I actually shopped at VC he'd probably pass out.

UGH difficult teenager in reverse

my other one wants
just wants, nearly anything
I have the same!!

As far as my BF - I wrack my brain too! He collects things I can't possibly afford - and he can't either now that he lost his job. He doesn't want me to spend a ton of money on him at all and he is soooooooooooo picky with knitted things for himself. He always loves what I knit for other people, but he's way too picky for me to knit anything for him.

An Amazon wishlist is a great idea! At least it gives you a place to start. I have a HUGE list there!

My husband LOVES to shower us (me and mom) with gifts, and we do appreciate it, he has such a GIVING heart............but sometimes I wish he would just do a simple one, small budget and the blessings of a great year!
