After 43 years of marriage, deciding on a gift for DH has gotten to be more of a challenge, because he already has every tool there is. So in recent years I have gotten him the memory foam pillow, and a memory foam mattress pad which he has really appreciated. This year I have bought a Sony wireless infrared headset so he can have the TV at the volume HE needs without blasting me. I have already gotten him the Stealth amplifier hearing aid which doesn't seem to be as useful as I had hoped. It's made by the same people who make TV Ears so I didn't want to give THEM any more of our money.

Just reemebered another gift given to DH in recent years was a remote controlled model airplane which he circled in a catalog. He's had fun with it. It was an AirHog model.

Just thought of a couple of other suggestions.

Last year I purchased a Tracfone phone card that would double his minutes every time DH refilled his time - good for the life of his telephone. That was $49. This year Tracfone is selling telephones that automatically get double minutes with each refill. They can cost as little as $30. I'm hoping to receive one myself since my current phone doesn't have the speaker phone feature and the newer ones do.

Or possibly a really good book about a subject that interests him.
