K1TBL ribbing advantage?
What is the design advantage of doing a k1tbl, p1 vs. k1, p1? I'm knitting the Upstairs Socks and just wondered.. Thanks in advance!

It can tighten up the ribbing as does any ktbl stitch.

If you are knitting in the round I found a way to make the ribbing nice and tight. I don't knit through the back loop. Here's my method and I use whenever I'm doing ribbing in the round. I'm posting a link because it's more than a few lines of text.

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.
