I started my 3rd log during the very sad football game last night when the Ravens lost.

The good news is that it's an easy thing to knit when watching TV...

I have still done nothing more to mine as it is still at home and I am still at Uni, will be going home Thursday tho so looks like I got some catching up to do between the set chapters for monday.

I was really missing my knitting over the weekend! Had a bad few days and really needed something not remotely Uni related to take my mind off things. I got an essay mark back and it was a lot worse than I expected, particularly after spending so much time on it so I was pretty disappointed and then when I got the comments back I got very upset - it felt a bit personal.

Everything is better now, I can see why I got the mark but I just didn't feel it was as bad as the marker thought it was. Never mind. Just looking forward to the end of the week when I can go home and pick up my blanket again, then I can watch TV without feeling guilty cos I'll be doing something productive at the same time!

I managed to finish my blanket yesterday evening (Sunday) here is a couple of photos. the first one Patches one of our kittens had to pounce on the blanket as I was taking the photo.

the second is of Maisey using it, Kamilia is letting her borrow it because she is not well.

it measures 45 x 44 inches using the 6 skeins of Caron Simply Soft. Have a little left to make a tiny blankie for Maiseys Barbie or baby doll.

Rachejm - sorry that you got a bad report back, I am sure you will do brilliantly on the next one. I think you need just a little project with you at all times in case of emergencies

I can not believe how much they (my two oldest) are arguing over who has the blanket. Kamilia (13) has claimed the blanket as hers and there is no way she is letting her little brother (7) have it. at the moment we have agreed a share system. But only until I have knitted his blanket so now I am casting on to do this one. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr...derman-blanket I am just so glad Maisey is only 2 and never complains about anything.

Wow, another person going for two blankets in the one month!
I'll bet the second one is just as beautiful as the first. Or maybe hansome is a better word since it's for a boy!
Great Job!

Well I am not even going to attempt to finish this before Jan is over. I am sure my son will harass me until it is done so it can't be an ongoing project that's is for sure.
