Help understanding pattern, please!
Hi! I am knitting a cardigan by Sublime and the pattern for the Left Front advises that after shaping the shoulder I should "work on remaining 15 stitches for back neck border continue until work is of sufficient length to go halfway across back of neck"... I have no idea what I should be measuring against what... I have the back knitted already, but am not sure what this pattern is telling me to do... Looking at it I think if I continue knitting I'm going to get a bizarre shaped front with a skinny section sticking up from the middle?

Any advice much appreciated.

Is there a link to the pattern or at least a picture of the finished sweater?

sometimes the fronts of a sweater, you bind off the shoulders and some stitches at the neck edge continue around the neck to the middle of the back/neck (the other side continuing around the other side of the neck) and the 2 meet in the center of the back. These form sort of a collar, maybe a shaw collar that folds down. Sounds like you're doing something like that.
