Choosing the right PLY?
You know I am from the old school of knitting. You pick your yarn out by ply. Now when I try to shop for yarn to follow my patterns, the ply is not given. I need 3 ply baby yarn, how do I do this?
thanks so much

Here is a chart that should help you. LINK

You will need to look at the UK designation for the ply and then see what some other names for it are, and how many stitches per inch the yarn works up to and use that to help you shop.
