Ooooooo ahhhhhh! This is so nice! Reminds me of little sparrows, too! Great work, and the inside is so nice and tidy!

Me and stranding don't get along too well.

You are really an inspiration!

That came out beautifully! Really like the colors you used and of course the design. Great job!

Thanks so much! I've tried stranding a couple times before with HORRIBLE results. Nasty, tight stitches, puckering, disappearing stitches (so tight they disappear ). Then I read this tip:

To keep your stitches from getting too tight, when you're ready to work the second color, s-t-r-e-t-c-h the first color's stitches out on the needle. Not so much that it strains the yarn, but enough that it's basically as stretched out as normal use would stretch it. Then just start knitting!

I posted the pattern name, but I have to be "hooked up" with a place to store the PDF since I don't have my own site. The PDF is all done (includes some tips and tricks), just waiting

That's very creative! I love the color combo and pattern. That'll make a great fall hat.

A beautiful hat! Did you knit it in-the-round, or flat and seam it up?

I knit it in the round using US8 24" circular methods and the "modified magic loop" method. What a life saver!
