Help on Braided Cable Alpaca Scarf
When I slip 3 sts onto cable needle & hold to the front, then I knit 3 sts, then knit the 3 sts from the cable needle I end up with a loop hanging down. I cannot figure out why I am having this trouble!
I am new to this site and would appreciate any suggestions.

Did one of your stitches slip off one of the needles?

Is this happening every time you make a cable? If not, then I'm thinking Sue's question is probably the right one to ask.

If it is, is it actually a loop like a dropped stitch, or does it look like the yarn is pulled really loose? If so, are you using a cable needle that's the same size or thicker than your knitting needle? You might need to use a smaller cable needle.
If at first you don't it and try again!
