Question about chosing a yarn

I am getting ready to take a top down sweater class at my LYS and I need to choose a yarn. I am drawn to the Berroco Comfort worsted weight yarn. Has anyone knit a sweater with this? Anyone have any feedback on this yarn for this purpose or any other purpose? Anyone have any other suggestions for a good yarn?

I haven't knit with that yarn, but I looked up reviews and the biggest thing people were saying was that it's splitty. And second is that it's droopy, but not everyone had that problem. Many really liked it and it had more positive reviews than negative.

I've heard that people really like it. Soft yarns do tend to be more splitty because they're not twisted tightly. This doesn't bother most people though.

Thanks for the replies. It sounds like it could be okay to use. I suppose I will keep it as an option.
