What does VDD mean in knitting directions?
I am working on the Ruffled Rose Scarf as seen below...

http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...%3Den%26sa%3DG

In the stitches it says to: Yo, VDD, K2P2. I have NO idea what VDD means? Can someone please help me? Thank you so much.

That is a very pretty pattern...I hadn't heard of VDD either but found this when searching for it...it's in her Combo Corset pattern too (link takes you to diy:knitty gritty)

VDD (vertical double decrease) Slip 2 sts as if to K2tog, k1, pass slipped sts over the knit st.

That's also known as a CDD - centered double decrease. The middle stitch of the 3 is on top, so it's centered. Other decs, single or double, lean to the left or right.
