A couple more scarves
Christmas presents finally done! (Well, they have been done for a week or 2 now! The gray scarf - Staggered Rib Scarf http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr...ered-rib-scarfis for my DH and was made with Debbie Bliss Cashmerino - nice to work with! The brownish one is for my Mom - Travelling Fern Scarf. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr...ern-lace-scarf It was my first foray into lace There are a few imperfections in both, but nothing I can't live with

Both are beautiful!! Love the Traveling Fern, but am really looking forward to trying the staggered rib. I love how that works up too!

Hey All,
I am/was speechless and gobsmacked when I saw both of those scarfs. The wandering fern is beautiful, and puts my attempt at lace to shame ( shall I put my scarf still-on-the-needles in the bin?)

Nathalie - thanks for uploading the pics for me! I couldnt for the life of me figure out how to do it without getting to the root file! My brain was in slo-mo :P

Phoenix - don't get discouraged! I tried a couple of different lace patterns with what I thought was no success.....lace really changes once you block it!

Margz -I'm just saying in comparison to your lace work, mine is terrible. I thought that my unfinished lace work was pretty good until I saw your breathtaking work.
