Help with 12 point round ripple afghan

I've been all over the internet to see if this exists, but I'm coming up empty. My math skills aren't the greatest, so I need help!!!!

I'm working on a 12 point round ripple afghan, and I was wondering if there is a chart somewhere that tells you how many stitches you have between points for each round so I have something to check my stitch count against. I'm just not getting the mathematical formula of how this afghan increases, and I want to be sure I'm doing it right. THIS is the pattern I'm using. I'm probably going to go about 42 rounds. I don't know about the counts posted in your link (actual stitch counts) being actual sts counts for the rounds as they only count the DC sts before and after the "V" stitch. One would need to double the counts given then add the ch 2 to the count for the size of the repeat. That sum would then be multiplied by 12 repeats.

Chrome Kitty also did only one small "V" row for every 2 large "V" row. Was there an Errata posted for the pattern? If not then Chrome Kitty followed a modified pattern.
