Very cool patchwork afghan pattern
I just ran across this and wanted to share. The squares are being added weekly so they aren't all there yet, but some of them are so creative! I love the I-cord Celtic Sun Square and the turtle square.

Wow, how cool is that?? I thought about making it, but would probably drive myself nuts trying to knit the squares so they'd all be the same size! I like how she did the legs on the giraffe.. sewing them on seperately for a two (three?) dimensional look.

I thought about that too. I'd definitely have to do it with wool so I could block the squares to the same size.

That's a great afghan! And yes, I'd go nuts if the squares aren't all the same size!

That is totally awesome. I guess I could just knit a border between the squares so that if one is a little short, I could make up the difference....
My fave's are the turtle and the basketweave. I can't wait to see what the others look like.

Thank you for posting the link to those blocks. I can use some of them in the block afghan I have in progress.

Love it!

I've got that turtle pattern as a dishcloth. Have to find the website I got it from to see who the designer is.

According to the link it's Charlotte Parry. Unless that's the knitter's name.

I love the turtle! Lovely colours on the afghan

I've seen that one before too--I thought it looked familiar.

Valpuri--I am pretty sure that's the designer's name. I recognize several of the other names and they are all designers.
